We are a tree company working out of Austin, five years in, covering the metro and the suburbs north and south of it. Small enough that the person who prices your job is the person who turns up to do it.
What we are not
We are not a lead-generation site. A lot of what looks like local tree companies online are national outfits that collect your details and sell them to three subcontractors, one of whom eventually calls you. You never find out who is actually coming until they are in your driveway.
When you send a photo here it goes to us, we price it, and we do the work.
How we price
Flat numbers in writing, itemised, with the stump quoted separately so you can take it or leave it. Not a range that drifts upward on the day. If we have got something wrong in the quote, that is our problem rather than yours, and the only time a price changes mid-job is if you ask for extra work.
Every price band we quote around is published on this site. What removal costs in Austin, what trimming costs, what a stump costs. Most tree companies will not put a number on a web page. We would rather you knew roughly what to expect before you ever write to us.
Things we will argue with you about
There are a few. We do not top trees, because it wrecks the structure and creates a worse problem in five years. We do not prune oaks between February and June, whatever the reason, because Central Texas has the worst oak wilt in the country and that is how it spreads. We will tell you when a storm-damaged tree can be saved rather than selling you a removal. And we will push back on clearing a steep limestone slope bare, because the soil ends up in the creek.
If you want a tree gone for reasons of your own, that is fine and we will not lecture you. It is your garden.
Licence and insurance
General liability and workers’ compensation are carried at {{INSURANCE_AMOUNT}}, and we send a certificate on request before the crew rolls. Ask every tree company for that, not just us. If an uninsured crew gets hurt in your garden the exposure can land on you.
Texas does not license tree services at state level the way it licenses electricians, which is worth knowing when a company tells you it is licensed. What matters is insurance you can verify. We do not hold an ISA certification and we will not claim one; what we do have is five years of Central Texas removals and an honest read on what your tree needs.

Questions about us
How long have you been working in Austin?
Five years, across the Austin metro and the suburbs in Travis, Williamson and Hays counties. In that time the pattern has been consistent: drought damages roots quietly for two or three years, then the first wet, windy night takes the tree over and the storm gets the blame.
Are you insured?
Yes, general liability and workers’ compensation at {{INSURANCE_AMOUNT}}, with a certificate available before we start. Ask any tree company for this in writing. Texas has no state licence for tree work, so verifiable insurance is the real test of whether a crew is worth letting into your garden.
Do you subcontract the work?
No. The person who prices your job is on site when it happens. Crane work brings in a crane operator, which is specialist equipment rather than subcontracting the tree work itself, and we tell you when that is part of the plan.
Why do you publish your prices?
Because the first thing anyone wants to know is whether this is a $500 problem or a $3,000 problem, and making people fill in a form to find out is a poor way to treat them. The ranges on this site are the ranges we actually quote around across Austin.
